Jan 12,  · Then comes I Think I’m Going Bald, a mid-tempo rocker which according to Wikipedia is a spoof of the Kiss song “Goin’ Blind”: Canadian progressive rock band Rush, who had opened for Kiss during both bands’ early years, poked fun at this song with “I Think I’m Going Bald”, from their album Caress of Steel.

4. Jul 31,  · I Think I'm Going Bald has not aged well (perhaps it's sentiments are too close to home lol!!) but Bastille Day and Lakeside Park are still sounding great to me! 6. Although the band initially had high hopes for Caress of Steel, it was considered a disappointment by the record company. The album eventually became known as one of Rush’s most obscure and overlooked recordings. Die hard fans feel the record is underrated. Caress of Steel featured long pieces broken up into various sections and long solo passages. It is often considered notable for the inclusion of the band.

7. Apr 01,  · Guitarist Alex Lifeson saves this album and his work on Caress of Steel is undervalued, underappreciated and takes center stage on the record. Caress of Steel opens with three “regular” rock songs starting with “Bastille Day” which no doubt certainly felt promising for the rest of the album in as a hard rock song with driving guitars. “I Think I’m Going Bald” while a fun take on getting older .

8. This album is one of the best Geddy's voice has seen, with both a great use of range and an ear splitting aggression that makes you bang your head and grit your teeth. Even the silliest song on the album, "I Think I'm Going Bald", has a gritty, heavy, riff happy feel to it that makes it an enjoyable song.
